Brigadoon Village

Brigadoon Village is South Africa’s first Dementia reminiscence village, situated on a 2 ha seafront estate. This sensory haven is filled with abundant birdlife, fynbos, uninterrupted ocean views and is walking distance from the penguin sanctuary.

Brigadoon Village comprise 13 units, each with 2 bedrooms, cosy lounge, bathroom and kitchenette. Each unit leads to the sunny communal lounge and dining area with large patio overlooking the sea.

A special feature will be the reminiscence “Old Town”, where residents are taken back in time to life during the 1940’s to 1970’s. The classic old town is recreated on the WW2 heritage site and will consist of a library, beauty salon, men’s club, WW2 museum, church and traditional street cafe.
